Farewell Scott and Elizabeth

Scott and Elizabeth have been the youth pastors at Glad Tidings for 7 years. As we look back on these seven years, and the lives of not only students but also parents, this young couple have had an astonishing affect. Pastor Scott accepted this position at a hard time for Glad Tidings seeing nearly five youth pastors come and go in the five years. Fusion youth ministry developed into a major outreach ministry with Friday nights at the Warehouse that reaches to many under privileged youth. Scott was always willing to sacrifice for the youth, be it Six Flags or church camp. Scott Gilstrap, you are truly a man of God and it has shown throughout your ministry at Glad Tidings.

I would like to say thank you for the past seven years for the good times and the bad ones I don’t know where I would be today without you help and guidance. I know that after seven years of faithful service, where ever you go, God will bless you and your family. It has been an honor and a privilege being your student and I hope that our friendship will carry on. In closing, I would like to say and I believe, everyone will agree, you will always be remembered in our hearts and lives. -joey

Scott, I can't put into words how much you mean to me or how much you've influenced my life. You've seen me through some tough times and I don't know where I would be without you. I am going to miss getting to hang out with you on a phone call's notice. I really appreciate the way that the two of you worked with me as a young musician and helped me get to where I am today.
